Privacy Policy

1. What We Collect

We collect the following information when you use LOGIT:

• Account data: Email address and encrypted password (managed by Supabase Auth)
• Journal data: Trade entries, journals, audits, and goals you create in the App
• Usage data: Plan tier, trial status, streak/XP, and AI usage counts
• Payment data: Processed by Stripe. We store your Stripe customer/subscription identifiers and plan status — we never see or store your full card number.
• Product analytics: Events about how you use the App (if analytics is enabled)
• Technical data: Browser/device type and error reports (standard logs) — we do not fingerprint devices

2. How We Use Your Data

• To provide and improve the App's features
• To enforce subscription tier limits
• To send transactional emails (account confirmation, password reset) — no marketing without opt-in
• To generate AI analysis of your trade data (sent to Anthropic's API — see Section 4)

3. Data Storage

Your data is stored on Supabase (supabase.com), a PostgreSQL-based cloud database hosted on AWS. Supabase uses row-level security so your data is isolated from other users. You can read Supabase's privacy policy at supabase.com/privacy.

4. Third-Party Services

We do not sell your personal data to any third party, and we do not use your data for third-party advertising.

5. AI Analysis & Anthropic

When you run an AI analysis, your trade data (numbers, dates, notes — no personal identity info beyond your email) is sent to Anthropic's Claude API to generate the analysis. Anthropic's data usage policies apply. As of the effective date of this policy, Anthropic does not use API-submitted data to train models by default. See anthropic.com/privacy for details.

6. Payments

Payments are processed by Stripe. When you subscribe or make a purchase, your payment details are collected and stored by Stripe under their privacy policy (stripe.com/privacy); we receive only your customer/subscription identifiers and plan status. We never receive or store your full card number.

7. Cookies & Local Storage

We use essential cookies and browser local storage to keep you signed in, remember preferences (such as theme, timezone, and selected account), and operate core features. If product analytics or push notifications are enabled, those providers may set their own cookies/identifiers. We do not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies. You can clear cookies/local storage in your browser, though some features may stop working.

8. Data Retention

Your data is kept for as long as your account is active. You can delete your account yourself at any time from Settings → Your data, which permanently removes your data from our database, or email support@logit.app and we will delete it within 30 days.

9. Your Rights

Depending on where you live (including under the EU/UK GDPR and the California CCPA/CPRA), you may have the right to:

• Access / portability: Export your data from Settings, or request a copy;
• Correction: Edit or delete any entry directly in the App;
• Deletion: Request deletion of your account and associated data;
• Object / restrict / withdraw consent: Opt out of analytics or push, or object to certain processing;
• Do Not Sell/Share: We do not sell or share personal data as those terms are defined under U.S. state laws.

To exercise any right, email support@logit.app. We will not discriminate against you for exercising these rights. Where required, we rely on your consent, performance of our contract with you, and our legitimate interests as legal bases for processing.

10. International Users

We operate from the United States and use U.S.-based service providers. If you access the Service from outside the U.S., you consent to the transfer and processing of your data in the U.S. and other countries where our providers operate.

11. Security

We use Supabase's row-level security (RLS) to ensure each user can only access their own data. Passwords are hashed by Supabase Auth (bcrypt). We use HTTPS for all data transmission. No system is 100% secure — if you discover a security issue, please email support@logit.app.

12. Children

The App is not intended for users under 18. We do not knowingly collect data from minors.

13. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will update the effective date at the top. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance.
